im not going to.

My income right now is wayyyy crazy, working two seperate jobs sparatically, so I could put away like random amounts, totally not worth it, I'll just make sure I budget to the $ i have come November.

I only spend a few hundred on Christmas, it is not enough to save and even if I did save a bunch more money all year my parents wouldnt let me spend it on Christmas

I've already bought some stuff. John thought I was nuts til I told him I got it all for 60%-80% off. I've also started on b-days and Easter, too.

We don't spend enough on christmas to warrant that. :lol

It cracks me up when people spend more than a month's income on it...what happened to "what christmas is really about" and all of that jazz? :thinking

I like to give alot to his parents b/c they gave alot to him as he grew up. It's showing my appreciation for the people they are. My boys don't get much throughout the year. Their b-days are near Christmas as well. Thats why ours reachs up to 2k.

I don't have a savings strickly for Christmas but I usually just start buying presents in October. I used to be really good when I worked retail and I'd be done with Christmas in July.

Are you kidding?? I wish! My mom has had one for years though and I commend her for doing it. lol

Family will be getting handmade gifts this year (quilts, baskets, etc..) so I'll have to buy throughout the year to finish those projects.

I do hope to save a little money those for those big sales before and after Christmas for stuff *I* want lol

I haven't started yet but I really want to start one this year. It was easier when it was just the two of us there wasn't a big need for it, but we'll be closer to home this year and we'll have one more! great idea and reminder for the beginning of the year!!
