I just saw ADM Mullen speak on CNN. He revealed an earlier incident which occurred in (or near) the Strait of Hormuz, involving a Navy vessel issuing a warning shot. This pre-dates the incident that just occurred this week.

I'm looking for a link, but so far none have been posted on CNN.com that I can find. I'm anxious to learn more about prior similar encounters, ones which weren't released to the media/public.

Yes, my husband told me that, too and he said the Navy reports all incidents it's just what the media wishes to report on.
