I was just curious at about what age you started giving your lil one the finger foods like the gerber biscuits and stuff. I cant remember with oldest.
Izabella is 7 months and we only give her baby food. There was this lady at a restaurant the other day whos baby was a week older and she was giving her baby those little gerber finger foods to her son and he had no teeth. DD has 1 tooth that just came in and I have been wanting to start her on them but not sure when would be a good time.

You would be surprised at how well they can gum stuff. When Ashley only had 2 teeth she was eating everything. Uncluding meats. She is 11 months and ONLY eats table foods. Around 6 months I started giving her puffs, cheerios and the like and she LOVED em. Best thing you can do is try 1 and if she seems to do ok go from there. The puffs dissolve real fast too.
Ashley has 3 teeth and working on a few more now. She eats chicken, beef, turkey, ham etc

Thank you, I have been slowly giving her little bits of what I eat usually. For some reason I am just so much more paronoid with her then i was with my other one.

I was the opposite. Much more paranoid with my first. Ashley rejected all baby food by 9 months old so I had no other option but table food lol. Just try bits here and there. I bet she will do just fine! And think of the $ you will save. Mashed potatoes is great and mooshy. I also do pancakes. I found a mix at the store that has no egg at all in it and doesnt need egg added. I make banana pancakes for both of them with it (mash up a banana and add the mix and cook)

I have given her mashed potatoes. I dont kknow if I am more paranoid cause I am older or from working at a day care before I had her so being so cautious with others kids. DH makes fun of me for it. I already have been tempting to make my own baby food to cut down costs so maybe I will just give her little pieces of what we have. So much easier and cheaper. Thank you very much for all your advice. :)

She gets vienna sausages, pasta, pizza bread(cooked of course), cookies, she had chicken yesterday.

Its funny cause instead of her first tooth being in the front bottom, hers is one of the ones on the side. It looks so funny.lol

Cameron gets to sample pretty much everything. Well everything that he can eat at this age. He still eats baby food for his primary meals, but if we're out he gets what we have. He loves french fries and mashed potatoes. He just started eating the gerber crackers too and he loves those. I just make sure it is small enough because he has a tendency to choke on occasion even if something looks small enough.

Bri has had the frozen waffle sticks to chew on once he could sit up for teething...last month I started giving him the baby biscuits...I am thinking of starting him on more finger foods though since he is starting to get better putting things in his mouth and he is constantly doing the jaw chomping.
