Hey everyone! Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself! My name is Megan and I just started dating a guy who is in the Navy.
We actually dated last year for a few months and then broke up. I had heard that he had joined the Navy in May and right before Christmas we met up and talked and caught up on each other's lives. We really hit it off and spent a lot of time together and he ended up being my New Year's kiss :hehe We spent a lot of time talking and decided to give things another go since we had both matured a lot since we dated last.
Since I know absolutely nothing about the military what-so-ever, I thought I would join this and that way I'm able to get some answers sometimes and some support :thumbsup
Right now he is in "A" school in Great Lakes, IL but will graduate hopefully end of January/beginning of February! He talked to one of his proctors and they said he might be able to come home and work for his recruiter for a week or two which would be great because I go to school only about 45 minutes from our hometown! Then he'll be off to "C" school hopefully in San Diego (he's an ET, so I don't know where else he might be sent besides there, Virginia, or Florida)
Again, I don't know much about the military, but that's why I am here! To learn more about it and to give and get support
