I was just a little surprised to see him vocalise what has certainly been on everybody's mind. The cutbacks so far seem, to me at least, to be an effort to calm the near riot in Congress about the war. I think we'll be there for a long time. People are hoping that cut backs will continue at the same pace as they are now....Bush is saying that MAY NOT happen. this article is referring to FURTHER cut backs. starlisa 01-13-2008, 05:57 PM Not too surprising, actually. :( I'm just glad the additional tropps sent out from the surge are coming back home slowly. Further cutbacks would be really nice, though :) |
