We moved out of housing when Dh deployed. Now that this deployment is almost over I would like to get things settled housing wise before Dh returns. The only problem is that Dh has less than 6 months left with this enlistment. He plans to re-enlist when he returns. Ok so my questions is can we be put on the housing wait list if we have less than 6 months left ? Thanks in advance~ Shy

I think you need to have more then 6 months. But I could be wrong. Have you tried calling and asking?

I plan on calling housing tomorrow. Dh doesn't plan to re-enlist until he returns. I was hoping that I could get on the waiting list before.

Thats their site. I didnt see anything about timeframe on it but I think great lakes was 6 months or more in to get on the list. Not 100% sure tho

I dunno what they'd do. They might make you wait until he renlists. I dunno.

It is 6 months. We just moved into housing in San Diego last week and they asked us that very quetsion.

We were told upon applying for housing that you MUST have more than 6 months on your current enlistment to qualify.
