yeah it's not that old, its a like week old, but now there talking about this shit about going to war with iran and stuff and their naval fleet, and yadayda my db's in boot camp so i can't even tell him. But yeah, not too comforting.

You'll need to grow a thicker skin when it comes to things like this. I know easier said than done but as others have said in the other thread about this it is something that happens rather often. If you let everything like this get to you you will drive yourself crazy.

Yeah! lol It was just the first thing bad that ive ever seen since DB & I were together. I saw the Cole in person when I went to visit him and had no idea what had happened until he told me. Yeah im learning but good advice~! :)

I'm kind of new to this whole thing, And from what I know about the current war, it's hasn't be much of a naval war. So I'm sorry that I found it a little shocking.

I know! haha ITS OK!! DB said the Navy was doing tests to see the reaction of the sailors! It's ok :) Don't stress & Dont believe everything read on the internet etc... I now know that!!

It wasn't a test? It really happened. Yes I've talked to DH, he's the one who emailed me the link to start out with. I've talked to him nearly everyday. They are ok, he said it was very intense.

I wouldn't know. I won't watch the news when he is deployed, unless it someting worth watching. Half the time the news makes it much worse than it is and to be honest I prefer not to spend my deployment time going :nutts. I have two kids to think about. It's been a while for me and I know it sounds mean but I think(JMO) you need to develop thick skin being a military SO. Trust me it's not easy to do but I feel it's something I have to do. Let's face it, if something is going to happen, it's going to happen. Watching the news and making yourself crazy will not help. IMO it's in Gods hands not yours.:)
