I have buttermilk biscuits the kind in the can
and hamburger and sausage.
What can I make with either the hamburger or the sausage??
Like a cassarole with the biscuits on top type of thing....

Beef and Biscuit Bake

* 1 to 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
* 1 cup chopped onion
* 1/2 cup chopped celery
* 8 ounces mushrooms
* 1 to 1 1/2 cups mixed vegetables or peas and carrots
* 1 jar (12 ounces) beef gravy
* 3 to 4 tablespoons water
* dash dried thyme
* salt and pepper, to taste
* 6 to 8 frozen biscuits, slightly thawed and cut into quarters

PREPARATION:
Brown ground beef with onion, celery, and mushrooms until beef is no longer pink and vegetables are tender. Add mixed vegetables, gravy, water, and thyme. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Taste and add salt and pepper to taste.
Pour mixture into a 2-quart baking dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray or olive oil spray. Arrange biscuits over the top of the mixture. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes, or until biscuits are nicely browned and beef mixture is bubbly.
Serves 4 to 6.

2 lb Ground beef
Onion, chopped
15 oz Tomato sauce
2 tsp Chili powder
1 tbl Garlic salt
1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup Sour cream
2 x Eggs
2 can Biscuits

Brown hamburger and chopped onions. Drain. Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder and garlic salt; simmer. Mix about 1 cup grated cheddar, sour cream and eggs; add to hamburger. Simmer. Press about 2 cans of biscuits onto bottom of casserole, pour meat mixture then top with more biscuits. Bake at 375 for about 45 minutes. Top with more cheese and bake until melted.

Beefed Up Biscuit Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
1# hamburger
1 small onion, chopped
1 small green pepper chopped
1 can tomato soup (undiluted)
1 small can kernel corn
1 small can green beans (optional)
1/2 C sour cream
Shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Canned biscuits

Directions:
Brown hamburger, drain and set aside. In drippings, saute onion, green pepper.

In mixing bowl mix hamburger, onion, green pepper, corn and green beans. In separate bowl mix tomato soup and sour cream, mix until smooth, add enough water to be able to pour the mixture, about 1/2-3/4 C. Mix this with beef/veggie mixture. Salt and pepper to taste

Pour into baking dish, Bake at 350F for 15 minutes. Remove from oven, place biscuits joining each other on top. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.

Return to oven and continue baking until cheese is melted and biscuits are browned, about 15-25 minutes longer.

Let sit 10 minutes before serving

THe bolded is what I don't have. Can I substitute the gravy with broth?

Fast and Easy Hamburger Casserole

* 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
* 1/4 cup ketchup
* 1/2 cup milk
* 1 (12 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

biscuits and gravy!!! YUMMY

all you do is fry the sausage and with the grease from the sausage you make the gravy by adding just enough flour to make a paste...then slowly bring to a boil and add milk slowly!! its my favorite!

I looked on kraft.com and allrecipies.com and both pulled up nada.
I'm making the 2nd one with the corn and sour cream. It smells great :) THANK YOU!!!!!

That would have been my first thought, too :drool
buuuut since she said casserole..
now I'm curious if there's some kind of biscuit and gravy casserole :lol
