I kinda have a bad case of Wedding Fever right now. The DB and I know that we want to get married the summer after he gets out of the Army. He said that he's going to wait to propose when he gets out. I mean....it's only like 2 1/2 years until he gets out, but I would say yes now! Anyway, I went to my cousins wedding on Saturday, and it made me go wedding nuts. I know what dress I want, I know what the groomsmen are going to wear, I have ideas for pictures and I even found THE church. I need to stop this madness! :teehee

I found the church tonight actually! :lol DB and I know we need to get married in Dec 08, simply for logistical reasons, and I'm starting to get into planning mode. He can't propose until he gets his bonus though and he won't get his bonus until he graduates power school...which is like another 8 months. So I feel kind of silly planning stuff for a wedding that probably won't even happen when we want it to but I can't help it!

I already have my date picked out (and it's still got at least two years until then), so I know there's no rush... but... ::pinkie:imwaiting:glasses:mademe:hopeless I am soooo ready to be planning now, or be engaged, or both. We just picked a date yesterday and he was surprisingly cooperative about it. Now he doesn't want to talk about it and got all pissy tonight. It feels weird doing it without having a ring because I feel like I can't share it with anyone since they all think I'm jumping the gun.

haha. I talked to the db this morning and i was like "let's get married in june" (meaning june of 2011) and he said "ok babe" :wowsers he really agreed to that! I think he's as excited about this as I am. haha.

Haha, have fun girlies!! Even before DH and I were engaged, I was buying wedding magazines. I just hated it when people would ask me when the date was, and I was like "oh, we're not even engaged yet, but thanks!". Haha, dreaming of it is so much fun though!

i agree i (L) weddings but starting to plan a wedding for myself can be intimidating and overwhemling, im in that satge now:wowsers:dunno it comes quick engagement will be here before you know it

Well im gettin closer. We're considering getting married @ the courthouse before he deploys in 30+ days!! So I gotta look for a cute white "wedding" dress. We'll have a bigger one when he comes home w/ family & friends!

I'm suprised he doesn't think I'm crazy. The last few days the Db has called, I actually told him that I found a church and I picked out my dress and blah blah blah. He's just said "that sounds great babe, I can't wait to see the church". Lol. Even though we had decided that we weren't going to get engaged until after he gets out of the army in 2 1/2 years. So we'd get married in 3 1/2. hahaha. I just love weddings. The really funny thing is that my bff has gotten really into this too.
