How many digits are in the numbers that you have from your SO that has a cell phone overseas (esp. afghanistan)? I called the phone card company and they said they thought I had an extra number in the phone number. I figured I could maybe compare the number here... I have the 011+ the country code +9 more numbers (I think 2 are the city code?) If anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it, this phone thing is driving me bonkers and he doesn't seem to know what's going on either. :no

I am having the same issue. My DB has a cell phone and I have calling cards so I can call him but I cant seem to get the number to work. The number that shows up on my cell phone is
+964-790-377-2515
but the calling card says to put the 011 infront of all that but it doesnt go through....

When mine calls, it comes up just a whole bunch of weird numbers.

When I called DH in Bahrain it was always 10 or 11 numbers.. it's been over a year since I've had to do that though..

The number he gave me has the 011 and then 11 numbers after that. I don't know if I should believe the phone card lady that it's too many digits or not... :dunno I mean that is the number HE GAVE me... :arg
