NavyChiefs_Wife 01-15-2008, 03:28 PM i don't know where you would find a list but it's not hard to figure out what you need when first starting out.
things for your kitchen, pots, pans, dish towels, silverware, cooking utensils, glasses, dinnerware
cleaning products
things for the bathroom, towels, wash cloths, shower curtain, laundry baskets
those are what i can think of off the top of my head.

That pretty much says it all. Also, if you want to make it your home, get some pretties that you like to decorate with. Nothing overboard, just some little things that you truly love. Also, don't forget pot holders, so you don't burn yourself getting something out of the oven!! Have fun with it!!!

Living room: Cushions, candles, coasters, vases, pictures, curtains, lamps, dvd rack, throw rugs

it is alot of fun but slightly overwhelming lol there's alot to think about at once
thekels9 01-16-2008, 10:35 PM You could even look at some various websites registry lists. I know that target.com has one. I think it would be helpful, even if it is just for ideas!! I'm in a somewhat similar situation, except I have lots of the goods (my poor dining room is housing all of them for the next 4-5 months!!) that we got as wedding gifts, I am just not living with DH yet. And we made an agreement that we wouldn't use any of the new stuff until we live together!
