I have always owned a Kenmore. I have never had any issues with my sewing machine. My serger, a singer, on the other hand had to be repaired after a month of me owning it.

I have a Brother Pacesetter Disney one. It both sews and embroiders. I started on a smaller model that also sewed and embroidered then upgraded. I love them because they thread themselves, and are so easy to use!!!

My Elna is 34 years old and still runs like new :) Same with my mom's Brother and Elna machines.

I like Brother or Singer sewing machines.. I have a cheap Brother that I use but want a more fancy one.

I have a kenmore and so far I love it.

I have a viking. Its old and its been passed around my family. It works great. Its does all kinds of stitches and embroiders. I like it a lot. My mom has a kenmore and its broken a bunch of times.

dh brought back a singer from the nex and we couldn't figure out how to get it threaded and keep it threaded so i will fiddle with it tomorrow

I have a kenmoore that my mom bought in 1977 and it still works great! I love it.

Brother or Singer sewing machines are really good. I have a Brother sewing machine and it works really well

Singer is really good. I had one for years.
I have a Kenmore now. I'm happy with it as well.

I have a Singer machine. Read your manual first. It was a huge help to me, I spent a bit going "oh, that's what that does." It's fairly simple once you get the hang of it.

I have a brother VX-1435 and so far I love it

One warning I have about the cheep Sewing machines...you get what you pay for. Trust me on that one. I have a singer from my in-laws and it does alright. It was a 60's model and is starting to conk out. It will work for just a stitch.

I am hoping to get a kenmore next year or later.

yeah dh didn't ask me if he should get this one. i dunno i have to fiddle with it and see if i can figure it out

bernina!!! of course i suppose it depends on what you're using it for. my mom quilts and she has about eight sewing machines (i'm not kidding, it's crazy) but i'm pretty sure her favorite kind is bernina. if i sewed/quilting i could probably explain why, but i suck at it, sorry:teehee

I dream of having a machine that's designed for quilting someday *sigh* but for now the Kenmore works ;)

I have always gone with brother, I wishto one day have a janome or how ever it is spelt, the one that does it all for you. :)
