I was wondering if anyone from the area could tell me of some good hotels within walking distance of the Riverwalk. I have looked online and found some, but I am not sure if they are in a good area. TIA

We stayed at the Clarion O'brien hotel last year, it's about 4 blocks from the water.. and was fairly nice. Last January a room with 2 queens during the week cost $69- $89 a night.

We always stay at the Homewood Suites--Hilton. It's right on the Riverwalk. They have a huge free breakfast and drinks and appetizers at night. Also, pool and hot tub on the roof. Have fun wherever you stay. We lived in SA for 4 years and it's one of our favorite places to visit.
