I don't know about any other ship but on a carrier there's about 6,000

Totally depends. Cruisers have about 350 and I think a carrier can have up to 10,000--is that right? Or is it 5000? I forgot how much once the airwing is on.

Hubby is on a frigate and the CO said the other night there was a total of 211 members aboard.

My DF is on an anfibious(sp) ship they have 28 Officers 360 and some change for Enlisted crew and they can transport up to 1000 marines and all their equitment.
