do the words "Thread" and "count" mean anything to you? :P

DH and I are such bedroom snobs, we bought a comforter with 400 thread count, and now we won't have anything else. It was expensive, but I love it SO much!!

Anyone else a threadcount hoor?

um I am. Ours are all 800 and above but when they get to high of a count I actually dont like the way they feel. I actually think they feel dirty

our sheets are 1000 count :giggle
we actually got them at a pretty good price too!! (like half off)

my sheets now are 400 tc. i love them. they're chocolate brown and sateen cotton and heavenly.

Oh yeah, I look at the thread count. I get some pretty good deals on Overstock.com on higher thread counts.

One of our sets that I love is....I think 400 and the other one that is my favorite is 800 and I love them!! I can't stand using any of the other sheets now :lol

Same here, 450 thread count chocolate brown sheets, but the kids prefer jersey sheets.

:yes I am a snob. I have learned that with the higher count sheets it takes that much longer to get them soft.

I have two sets that I rotate. One is a 1000 count set, and the other is 400. I actually like the 400's better. But, it's probably because I like the design. lol.

I look, but I let feel guide me more than anything. I have some super expensive ones I love, and some super cheap ones I love too. It really depends on what they are made out of I think.

I hate sheets so Im not a thread count whore. I may be tho if I bought nice sheets and saw what the fuss was about.

I don't look at the thread count. I buy only the T-Shirt Jersey sheets. I won't buy anything else. Yep Yep. That's right.. Hardcore redneck here... Wurd.

DH and I are TC whores...so are our kids. They "itch" if they have cheap sheets. And I LOVE the feeling of good cotton high thread count sheets at night.

400 and up. But if you go to high then it has that Sateen feel to it and BLECH I can't stand that

I just bought 600 thread count sheets today. I am happy with anything over 400.

I'm spoiled. I only like 800+ thread count, any lower and it feels like sandpaper

Then I got some REALLY LOW threadcount sheets.... yeahhhhhhh threadcount matters to me now :lmao

SOFT SHEETS are the best. I buy the highest threadcount I can afford at the time. Good sheets are worth the investment. Who's up for sleeping in a paper sack? *giggle*

if we can afford it, I will. I have a pair of 350 TC sheets on my bed right now and they are super soft. I just can't justify spending over 100 bucks on a pair of sheets(we have a king sized EXTRA deep mattress)

I used to be soooooo into the Jersey knit also but then I discovered the 400TC sheets and now that's what I use. I don't think I've ever used anything higher than 400 but I won't buy anything lower than that now either.

DH is the one that is hooked- he says it is like sleeping on silk-- little does he know that IT is almost silk!! Don't get me wrong I love it too, but I could onnly afford to buy 1 set and I have one 400 - hopefully with tax refund I can get another set.

We're snobish! We will only buy 1000TC or higher. Our comforter is 450 TC b/c at the time we wouldnt find anything higher.
