I am reading World Without End by Ken Follett. The "sequel" to Pillars of the Earth, even though it takes place many years later.

currently nothing stimulating. I have no desire to pick up a book that requires thought right now. :sigh also I need to pay my library fines so I can't get anything good from the library. lol

The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield (it's a lovely and oh so dark tale)

I love to read and am usually at at least two - it's pretty rare that I'm only reading one. I'll read most anything - I give it 200 pages to get entertaining before I give up. I really love historic fiction.

Oh I wanna read that one! I (L) Pillars of the Earth! Right now I am ready a construction manual :nerd, HP #2, and Stargirl (a YA fiction my sister recommended). I rarely have fewer then 3 books going at a time- books are totally my escape mechanism. :lol

Well, I am only 100 pages into it, but I will let you know how it goes. I have heard mixed reviews. So far I like it. The action took of just as quickly as it did in Pillars. :D

I (L) fiction fantasy books. My favorite author is Anne Bishop, author of the Dark Jewels Trilogy. If you like fiction fantasy i highly recommend her Dreams Made Flesh stuff.

Right now I'm reading a Sherilyn Kenyon book titled Dance With the Devil. She is also and amazing author but technically considered in the Romantic genre. But she's got the fiction fantasy thing going on too. They good reads that you can't put down though. I have 7 of her books and I used to read one a day. Yeah, they are THAT good.

Guess I can answer my own question haha. Right now I'm reading the final book in the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. This one is called A Breath of Snow and Ashes
There are 6 books total in this series. I loved the first 2 I think it was, dragged butt through the next 3...they just werent written the same way...so it took me forever to get through them, that and they are VERY thick books lol. But the last one is written like the first two so I (L) it.

I like a lot of books. Historical fiction, Historical Romance, true crime...ect lol. I'm a major book worm. It's VERY rare that I'm not reading SOMETHING.

For school, I am reading various textbooks and Tennessee Williams plays (my lone lit class this semester, thoroughly enjoying it).

I just got done reading an Andrew Vachss book, he's such a great dark author (main character is this lifetime criminal named Burke, you'd know them if you read them: Hard Candy, Blossom, Strega, Down in the Zero, etc). I need to go to the library tomorrow though, I'm out of books! Oh, and I also just finished a book by Jennifer Crusie (chick lit). Normally I really like her but this book sort of...sucked. I have My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Piccoult but her books make me think too hard and are sometimes disturbing, so I'm waiting to read that one. I'm also (still) in the middle of Motherless Mothers, I had to put that one down and walk away from it for a little while, too painful right now to read.

Sadly nothing substantial at the moment. I finished Please Don't Laugh At Me recently....it was really good, about bullying. I started Love in the Time of Cholera, just didn't really get into it as much as I'd like. I like historical fiction though, and chick lit. And the classics too. I am soooo feeling a need for Barnes and Noble this weekend....

I'm taking 5 english courses this semester so there is no end to the reading. Right now I'm doing Cat on a Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams', Mansfield Park by Jane Austen, a "Style" handbook, literary theory anthology (yes, pretty much the whole thing), and a bunch of random slave narratives.

I did just finish Perfect Match by Jodi Picoult...kind of disturbing but very good.

There is one, but I was confused as to how it worked. I asked what the January book was, and was told it was The Pillars of the Earth and then was directed to a thread that said it was Love in a Time of Cholera. So, I just picked my own book. lol.

I just finished Good In Bed by Jennifer Weiner, Atonement by Ian McEwan, and My Sister's Keeperby Jodi Picoult. All good books, but Good In Bed was pure chicklit. No thought required. Atonement was heavy but really good. My Sister's Keeper was a really delicate subject and sort of sad, but really good.
