View Full Version : A Turbo on the run...
Rileysmom 01-25-2008, 10:34 PM SATURDAY UPDATE: HE CAME HOME! I JUST FOUND HIM OUT IN THE GARAGE CRYING FROM UNDERNEATH THE CAR! :woohoo :whew :tears I am so so so relieved!
He has some weeds and crap on his butt so he's getting a bath too!
That little fucker is grounded for the stress he put me through! :spank And they are all getting collars too.
Thank you so much for the help and good vibes everyone! I was stressed to the max yesterday. I am honestly terrified for Riley to be a teenage and pull the stunts I did all the night, I am gonna be a nervous wreck!!! :freakout
FRIDAY: So my cat Turbo somehow snaked out of the house today.. not sure how, but I know he is not here... his brother has been crying ALL afternoon and it just connected a couple hours ago that he is gone. Those of you that know me know that my guys are like children to me. I am the Britt level as far as crazy cat lady goes... (:hehe)The bad news is that we just moved a couple weeks ago, he is an indoor cat, and has 1-2 of his front claws (he has claw covers on, a couple have fallen off)... so things are not looking optimistic.
Anyways, any other pet freaks like me have any suggestions? Should I put food outside? Put a shirt of mine or Ryan's out there? :dunno I have no idea what to do. He might come home on his home, but there are dogs in this neighborhood and I am just not feeling optimistic.
Any ideas? :depressed
sunshyne 01-25-2008, 10:36 PM OMG I don't know!! Put some food out for sure, just in case. Is he chipped? Omg I really hope he comes home!!
Devinn 01-25-2008, 10:37 PM He probably hasn't even left the yard. :lol
Most indoor cats don't venture very far if they get out.
Rileysmom 01-25-2008, 10:39 PM Oh believe me, I checked, he is not in the yard. He will attack his brothers to get to me when I open a can of tuna, and I did that in the backyard.. I checked the trees, shrubs and garbage cans around the house, nowhere to be found. I live in So Cal, our yard is the size of a bathroom! :lol
Jessica, he isn't chipped. :( I didn't think about it because we used to live on the second floor of a condo, and even if they got "out" they would still be in our garage. :duh I'm definitely putting that on my to do list for them though now!
fridaynightgirl 01-25-2008, 10:40 PM Oh gosh - I hope he comes home soon!!! Here kitty, kitty!!! (trying to help, from Texas)
Mrs. CJ 01-25-2008, 10:43 PM Does your kitty have a name tag with a phone number on it?? If so, maybe a good hearted person will find him and give you a call. If not, cats usually don't venture far from their food...hopefully he will come back!!! Much luck!!!!
Rileysmom 01-25-2008, 10:44 PM Well sounds like I should put some food out then.. we turned on all the outside lights so he can see us or we can see him if he comes near... We do have a built in kitty door on the side of the house that leads to the garage, so hopefully he heads in there after a night of partying (:suspect).
Thanks for the help ladies! :hugs
Devinn 01-25-2008, 10:46 PM is he fixed? hopefully he's not out making mini Turbos :suspect
Maybe he was feeling......frisky? :teehee
JudyB 01-25-2008, 10:49 PM I hope he shows up soon Trey :hugs
Rileysmom 01-25-2008, 10:52 PM is he fixed? hopefully he's not out making mini Turbos :suspect
Maybe he was feeling......frisky? :teehee
:suspect Well he is a little perv.. Ryan and I decided that a few months ago that he was. :hehe :roflmao
He used to always try to escape at our condo, head out to the roof from the patio (his only escape route) and he always came back (not that he can go far on a fricken roof! :roflmao) but hopefully the same applies for this situation. :beg
He is fixed though. :whew
jlbecker 01-25-2008, 10:56 PM aw, :hugehug i hope he comes home. i'd try a bowl of food & keep a close eye on it.
JustBreathe 01-25-2008, 11:09 PM Oh God, I know that feeling all too well. It is a horrible, horrible feeling. This is going to sound silly, but are you absolutely sure you have looked under everything? I went through this with my Bella a few months ago, but for me it didn't turn out good. I will be :pray for his safe return.

Yeah, we looked pretty much up and down this place, and called his name in each room. My only guess is the garage, but I have went out there a few times and called his name, but nothing. Maybe I should put some food out there too and see if it's gone tomorrow. :thinking
Thanks again for the support and good vibes ladies! I know it's early to worry, but these turds are my babies. (L)
~*~Katie~*~ 01-25-2008, 11:12 PM awwww thats so sad :( I hope he comes back soon!!!!!!
Mrs. CJ 01-25-2008, 11:18 PM My cat is the best at playing hide and seek for a very long time. In my old apt, she had the best hiding place that I still don't know where it was. I would shake the bag of food and she would never show up. After I'd freak out for about 30mins she'd come walking into the room like she heard nothing. She would always do it to me when I was trying to leave...damn smart cat! My DH keeps taking her collar off that has her name tag on it because it has a bell on it...but I keep in on her because she loves to run out of the door on me.
Keep us posted about Turbo. I hope for a safe return!!! Maybe he is just good at hiding and no seeking!

tifflovezyou 01-26-2008, 12:44 AM My cat did that awhile back, and she came home a couple days later a little beat up. Don't give up hope, he'll be home soon! It's so scary when they're gone! It's like a family member missing. I hope he comes home soon :hugehug

HeatherA. 01-27-2008, 11:45 AM OH I am SOOO HAPPY he has returned. I hate seeing missing pets. I can truly put myself in the persons place and it damn near makes me cry. I would be LOST, completely and utterly lost if one of my pets went missing!!!
