ok, so, we HAVE known each other for years, but we've only been exclusive for ONE month... & hes talking about KIDS?! i just got an email from him asking how many kids i want & at what age i want to have them... the last time we talked on the phone he talked about wanting a family...
he's supposed to call me 30 MINUTES!! HELP?! QUICK!!

what do i say?! i mean, i WANT 2-3 kids before im 28... dont wanna be an old mom.. my parents had me at 37(mom) & 45(dad) & im NEVER going to put a kid through this!! lol but how am i supposed to handle this situation when he asks me on the phone? im thinking if he asks again, i'd end up just saying "umm... umm.. umm...?!"

OH! and he wants me to go up to Benning for he 2 weeks between when he gets back from Iraq & when he gets his leave to come down here... which i REALLY want to do!!! lol i just had to share that part lol

I would just say that I would not like to a mom who doesn't have a lot of energy. If I wait til my mid-thirties there comes a risk of complicated pregnancies, fatigue, etc....

There are MANY reasons as to why people don't want to have kiddies as such a late age.

I would just answer his questions :dunno He obviously asked for a reason and I am sure he is asking because alot of guys when they are deployed become all sentimental and a wanting a family becomes a large part of their wants. Just be honest

Just tell him what you told us, that you want 2-3 kids before you are 28.
Then you wont feel to pressured into starting straight away.
You just have to be honest and say you want to keep him to yourself for a while before you start having kids.

I agree. Asking if you want kids doesn't necessarily mean he wants them RIGHT. THIS. MINUTE. :) I wouldn't read too much into it.
