So I had no title for this...obviously but I know you ladies will understand where I am coming from. My husband and I are having a life altering conversation on email right now because its our only form of communication and I cant help but think its weird :puzz Its something most couples will never do because they dont have to. We are discussing our plans for the future and what they hold because my job oppertunity right now has alot to do with my DH choices for his years to come. Anyone know what I am saying lol

It was very surreal and sometimes very frustrating to deal with big issues using IM or e-mail, or even the phone. I think I got used to it after awhile, but it was still not the ideal situation to deal with huge issues, of course!

Luckily, being military SO's, we learn how to communicate effectively in any means of communication necessary, so I think like to think of it as a blessing. :lol

Yes its crazy the plans that are made..I just thank god I'm not trying to do this like so many before is did w/o email and IM and cell phones....it must have been so much harder

No joke - think of how it must have been during WW2? Entire lives put on hold for years.

yuck...I hate having those kinds of conversations over the internet. I don't care to have them over the phone either, really....I prefer being face to face.

But, when it's all you got, it's all you got :dunno

that's the worst.. it's so frustrating. even when you deal with things like that over the phone--it seems you always hang up and think of other things you wish you would have said, or just have one more question. and by the time they call again, you've forgotten! i'm sorry and i hope that it all works out for you!
