i've heard that to send cookies you can put little pieces of bread or popcorn in the container to absorb moisture and keep them fresh, but can i do the same thing with brownies? or what? :thinking

I have heard that too and I am told it works with all baked goods.

for brownies you can use a vacuum seal thing to keep the air out should keep them moist ( they sell the hefty one pretty cheap at most stores now.
