ok wel my mini dachshund is almost six months old and that means its almost time for adault food thats so crazy. i was just wondering what brand food everyone fed their dogs.

I prefer the Wellness, Innova or Eagle Pack Holistic lines - but I'm picky about what I'll feed my babies.
With small breeds it is usually recommended to switch between 9-12 months, for breeds that mature under 20 pounds,(slightly longer for larger breeds) from puppy to adult formula food. What brand are you currently feeding? I only ask because if the food you are feeding now is good enough as a puppy food you could stay with the same brand and just go to an adult formula when the time comes.

umm right now she is on purina puppy chow cuz i wasnt sure if we woeuld be moveing soon so i wanted her on something that i could find pretty much anywhere but yeah she weighs betwwen eight and nine pounds and that all the better she will get. one of the books i have recomended switching at around six or eight months because you dont want your doxie to become over weight. but i definatly dont thikn i want to leave her on purina.
