it is my 1st month charting but i take my temp everyday at the same time, i've kept the heater closed except for the days marked... and now my temps are everywhere- i hate had any :sex since dec 25 so i'm not preggo(took 3 tests all are neg)

what is the dotted line?HELP

i know when it's solid that it means is when i ovulated but what about when it's dotted?

lol i know the green colors with the letters "w" or "e" means that i'm fertile then and getting close to ovulating... the tan colors after the green should be my lutel phase..... the colors green and blue that have the numbers on them are in the key and are my own custom for heater and prenatal vitamins. the cross arrows are when i ovulate and the line thats all up and down are my temps.

thats what i know but i' really confused about my dotted cross arrows - they dont mention it on the site-atleast where i can find it....... i've heard it is possible that you ovulate twice coming off of bc....

I do charting too! It looks like the red dotted lines are...ok the horizontal looks the it marks the "base line" or whatever you want to call it for you ovulation temp..like if you go any lower than that base line, you will probably start your period. The vertical line looks like it was placed right after you ovulated! So you would wait 3 days after that vertical line to safely have sex...get it?

Okay-here goes.

The Crosshairs(CH) are dotted because not all fertility signs align with that day as your ovulation day. That's why.
I am inclined to agree with FF that you ovulated then.

You didn't ovulate twice....the dotted lines show where you ovulated or where its "guessing" you ovulated ....

I think FF is wrong....you ovulated before FF said you did on cycle day 14, you see the dip and then the next day your temps shot way up...if you notice your CM is eggwhite then too...a huge sign of ovulation...those were your fertile days for sure. Either way...you definately ovulated around that time whether the chart is right on the money or a few days off.

How many days long are your cycles? Because if your temps don't dip soon I would definately take another test. If you are preggo your you don't have that thermal shift and your temps don't dip...

:yes It looks like you did ovulate 7 days ago. Sometimes they will give the cross hairs when there may have to guess a little more so(like if you took an ovulation test and they were negative but your temps say you ovulated you may get crosshairs not a solid line its not a bad thing) and with a solid line it means they are pretty clear on ovulation(more signs to follow) but I think you did ovulate when it says you did.
