hey ladies from the truman and the truman BG its another month down just wanted to see how everyone is doing!

I am doing OK, had a little bit of a teary meltdown on the phone with DH earlier today, I could tell he felt really bad and it made him so sad to hear me cry, but he just kept reassuring me that it will all be over soon , and that he is just as lonely without me and our girls :tears For the most part I am fine and upbeat but then other times :kickcan

It was so exciting, yet :sighblah it was email from DH but also telling me they will not be porting for a good while.:dunno not sure why but he was preparing me that he had been trying to get my valentines day in order but without being able to access interent or port somewhere that I would prolly not get it on time.
So what's new, I swear every valentines day for me SUCKS, I think I am joining the anti- valentine group . I am GREATFUL for the email and that he LOVES me but I offically hate this holiday.

I am so happy another month is behind us! :whew I don't like the dreaded E word either. I was told the same thing, they're right on track.

My husband is on the Tarawa from San Diego but I think they left the same day as the Truman (Nov 5th). Are you girls expecting the Truman back in early May or early June? Not sure yet when the Tarawa battlegroup will be home. Things keep changing. I'm trying to keep my head up but damn y'all, it's hard!

:exerciseI'm doing pretty good! Holding strong..keeping myself busy with this diet thing and trying to concentrate really hard on looking the best I can for him when he finally comes home to me! It's 3 months down as of right now! So yay! Halfway through for me! Ladies we will all be seeing them before we know it!

Don't worry. I'm sure he's just busy. It totally sucks to go without hearing anything but if something was wrong then you would have been contacted. I've been lucky and only had to go 4 or 5 days without hearing from DB but they were the longest days of my life!!! Feel free to PM me if you need to vent!

Hey Jackie don't worry, they shut down email for E6 and below on the Tarawa on Friday when the Marines came back on board. I haven't heard from mine since Friday either. As soon as I hear from him I'll email you! Plus their course has changed, know what I mean? xoxo, Christina

hey everybody!! :yay for one more month down!!

Things are alright around here...I had a small breakdown last night too...it's supposed to be halfway but it's NOT. :tears Ah well... soon enough.

Right now I'm just trying to focus on getting everything together for my move back to Norfolk. I cannot WAIT! WOOO!

I thought this leg of my DB would be the longest...its been by far the hardest, but it is really kinda flying by. Soon he will be back and we won't be facing another goodbye this time!!:cp:woohoo:teehee:yay

Granted yes, I again last week broke down on the phone...he doesn't mind it. He knows how hard this is. But none the less I hate crying to him b/c he can't help it. He kept telling me it is sooooo close....not to be sad but to look at it as we are over 2/3 done. While this may be my emotional time it is just b/c we don't know the 'magic' date....and won't for a while:dunno. I just wanna know so I can start a countdown again.:worry:pout
