So I am new here and I am still learning how the whole MSOS site works. I know a few of you have seen my responses and posts and I just wanted to say that this is great! I wish I would have known about it sooner!! It is awesome to have a place to go and be surrounded by so many women that are in the same spot that I am! I had a question too. What are the points for? And how do you get them?? I am sure there is so much more that I could be doing on here but have yet to figure it all out! TIA!:wowsers

you get points for posting, and just in general for being a member. ( i forget how much you get for things) referring people stuff like that. You can use your points to buy gifts for people, change how your user name looks, change your user title stuff like that. :yes

I discovered this site last night and can't stop reading! My DB and I have been together for over a year, he is on this 3rd deployment to Iraq and this is my first experience. I had no idea how much it would suck!!!!!!!! Now I understand. My friends and family are all in the civilian world, so there are few people who truly understand how it feels to wait for a call, an email, any kind of contact. He is supposed to be back at the end of February but told me last week it may be extended to the end of March. Haven't heard anything since last Thursday and it is driving me crazy. I know I am not alone after reading your postings. I'm just so thankful to have a connection to other strong women who love, love, love their military heroes. Can't wait to get to know you! (L)
