a digital camera/video recorder...

i loved sending it to him, because it was just as much a gift for me as it was to him!

Well DB got drunk one night before he got deployed and used his portable dvd player as a toilet! :duh Yup that's right he peed allllll over it! He's a movie freak and loves to watch them so I bought him a new dvd player that holds an ipod too! and you can put memory cards in it too from your camera/camcorder. He LOVED it! But he's not allow to mistake it for the toilet :giggle

i bought a arkanasas razorback calander.
i took pictures of all of the immediate family and printed them out (small squares)
i put each person's picture on the day of their birthday and how old they would be.
i also printed off pictures of me and df for our anniversary, and i put a pic of df on his "army anniversary".
for each month i put atleast 2 pictures on the top part of the calander.
*for jan. i put pics of new years last year when he was home
*for feb. i put lovey dovey pic for valentines day & a pic of us after we got engaged last feb. & the 1st LT symbol and definition (since he got promoted this month)
*for march april and may i put pics of us together
*june & july i put pictures of us at the beach and lake
*august & september pics of us
*november pics of us from the winter
*december i put a pic of the christmas tree and a few pictures of us from past christmas'

**each month also had cute little saying/quotes about the military

i wish i would have taken pictures of it, it might not sound like it but it was sooo cute!!

he called me as soon as he got it (he never calls) and said he LOVED it and hung it up immediately!!(L)

I sent him a fleece quillo. :D I sewed bias tape all around it so it wasn't raw edges. I was pretty happy with it!

That is so awesome...how do you make those? It looks easy!!

it was really easy, just google no-sew blankets and the directions come up, you basicall just have to measure two pieces of fabric(i used fleece) and put them together then measure slits all the way around and then knot them together.

Well I havent sent them yet but it will definately be his sexy pics I had done for V-day :yes

my hubby gets a four day pass in about a month and i sent him a bag of "naughtiness" to bring when i get there to see him :) he hasn't gotten it yet, but i can't wait :lol :lol

I gave him an ipod before he left. He would say that the blanket that I got for christmas from my family. I brought blankets the night he left because it was cold and he wanted to take one. He says he cuddles it everynight like it was me. :wub

i would have to say pictures of me growing up...we weren't together for very long before he left, so he didn't get to see all that junk that doesn't really come up at the beginning of relationships...:yes

**I also sent my DB a tie blanket.. on one side was Iowa (because that's where we are from, and I wanted to remind him of home) and on the otherside was camo colored w/ skull heads.... * you have to know me... i love SKULLS!!! haha!

aw...i'm not sure my favorite yet...i think he'll really like the "what i love about you" book cause he's mushy (even if he won't admit it) and it was fun for me to fill out...i also made him a calendar with pictures of us and stuff which was really cute...and i sent him a card a while back that on the front it had this little cartoon dog or something and it said "don't you ever get cold?" and then on the inside it said "...always running around my thoughts with no clothes on and everything?"...:LMAO hahahha i thought it was so funny.

i haven't sent much so far... but he loves pictures so i send a ton of them.

I had picks of me taken and had them printed on a calender for christmas

for his birthday I sent him beach sand and a message in a bottle. and wrapped around that a sexy black thong (don't worry it was new lol) and sprayed it with perfum. and the note read something corny joke about missing making out on the beach and sending the sand in my underwear. it was writen better then that either way he thought it was hot and then read the note and thought it was funny so that's all that maters

DH hasnt been gone that long, but so far out of the 4 packages I have sent, the "sexy/ naughty" pics were my favorite, I was surprised how well they turned out.
