MissJasmin25 02-05-2008, 08:37 PM :confuzzleIf my husband is stationed in North Carolina, but i live in San Antonio, Texas and the cost of living is much higher here, which BAH rate should we be getting NC or TX?? JW JudyB 02-05-2008, 08:38 PM I think it will be for NC since that is where he is stationed at rosebud* 02-05-2008, 09:23 PM North Carolina if that is where his unit is from. ( deployed or not if they return to NC then his unit is based there kwim?) Victoria 02-05-2008, 09:23 PM Is he geo-baching it?!? Kym 02-05-2008, 11:31 PM Where he is stationed at settles 02-05-2008, 11:32 PM NC if thats where he is stationed at. Miss B Hav'n 02-06-2008, 08:56 PM BAH is based off of the MM's duty station address (except in the case of unaccompanied overseas orders) so you will receive BAH at the NC rate. gunsgirl 02-06-2008, 09:16 PM NC rate. DakotaCowgirl 02-06-2008, 11:05 PM NC usmc_wifey85 02-06-2008, 11:12 PM You would be getting BAH for NC. kitkat 02-06-2008, 11:32 PM is there a reason you aren't moving to nc?... i may be wrong but could you get speration pay? not sure how that works.. gunsgirl 02-07-2008, 07:25 AM no sep pay if it is a GEO bach thing-- sep pay is only for "forced" seperations-- not seperations by choice. nkaliloa 02-09-2008, 10:16 AM :confuzzleIf my husband is stationed in North Carolina, but i live in San Antonio, Texas and the cost of living is much higher here, which BAH rate should we be getting NC or TX?? JW IT GOES OFF HIS DUTY STATION:wowsers petsparkle 02-09-2008, 10:27 AM Depends on his orders and also where he's living in NC (barracks, out in town, etc.). Is there a reason you're not moving there with him? The reason I ask is that you might be able to get some kind of allowance if there is a very good reason why you can't move, or if they won't allow you to move up there with him. |
