anyone from CT? I'm not "stationed" here since it's where I grew up, and I met DB here, but I was wondering who else is in the area

I'm currently stationed in Groton, Ct.

I'm not there, but I grew up in Killingly (northeast corner)

Dh is stationed at Groton Sub base. We live 20 minutes from the base and I was born/raised in CT although not near the base. What part of CT are you from? I lived most of my life in Glastonbury.

Seymour born and raised (down halfway between waterbury and bridgeport), but went to uconn in storrs and now live in New Haven and go to scsu

New Haven is about an hour from us maybe less. I'm not familiar with Seymour, CT. Dh goes to ECSU.

hehe it is possible to get from groton to new haven in 35 minutes...but on a normal day I would suggest at least 45 and if its morning rush hour usually over an hour. Its funny how me and DB have it perfect with us both driving it a couple times every week, it's not so bad just one road the whooole way

A friend of mine used to work at a restaurant in New Haven and she used to drive it 4 days a week from Groton. It usually takes us about 45 minutes to get there but 35 minutes you must have a lead foot :lol

I'll be moving back to Norwich next month. I go into New Haven to Yale twice a year because thats where my heart dr is

i used to live there!!! my cousins are in Berlin, Groton, Waterbury, Middletown and the one in Waterbury used to go to school in New Haven (plus my mom went to Southern)! i miss CT>.. cannot wait to go back in July :yes

I grew up like 20 min from waterbury-- played all the high schools in sports...and won. of course

DH is from East Porvidence RI .. He would do anything to get stationed in CT or RI. I am from FL but I love CT & RI, I can't wait till we get to move back :)

My sil in law and her hubby are moving out of Groton on July 21st. He's getting out of the Navy.

I lived in North Campus the past 2 years(went to uconn the 1st 2)...but being my 5th year of college my parents aren't funding housing anymore, so I'll be commuting

I went to school in CT- Fairfield University. I miss it. :(

I'm in CT. I just got here in May. Hubby will be going to A school very soon, sometime next month.

I'm in Groton, too. Well, technically... We're currently living in my hometown- Gales Ferry. We're hoping if DH makes Chief to get outta here, though...

We just moved up to Groton in June.
