Hi, my name is Kay. I live in the Hampton Roads area of VA. I am the new girlfriend of a Navy man who is now deployed with the Army until Jan.09. We were only 3 weeks into our relationship when I got the news that he had to be deployed for a year. Things are going well because we get to talk frequently or chat on Messenger. However, there are struggles dealing with the deployment and trying to establish a lasting and meaningful relationship at such a distance.
I am so please to have found this group:yay! I really need the support!

:welcome to the forum..i'm glad you found us...i relate to your situation b/c I moved in with DF 6 months into our relatlionship...then after about another 6 months he deployed to iraq...so you'll find lots of girls here who are in your spot...Im Mary nice to meet you.

aww me and my boyfriend are just into our relationship too so i so understand what your going through! he leaves on valentines day for 7 months. but welcome and i hope to talk to you soon!
