I’m terribly sorry for your loss, but hang in there! I know it’s impossible to feel good about it, but it is possible to accept it and feel better about it. Someone very close to me (my ex’s mom) went through this recently. It was rough on everyone because we wanted him with us. We had to just remind ourselves that he was in a better place and that there was a reason for it. It helps once you can accept that. It of course affects her the deepest, and she has rough days, but overall she’s doing well. She has forced herself to keep going. She went back to work after about a month and that helps keep her mind going. She also has started an annual car show in memory of him. (He loved cars.) We already had the first one and it turned out well. His mother donated the money to the Make-A-Wish Foundation so she could help other kids. I’m going to be developing a website for the car show as well. Giving back to others actually helped us all to have more peace about the situation. I will be praying for your family.
