Grocery store outlet type places?

Here we have Value Grocery Outlet and at home it was Aldi's(SP?!)

We love the Grocery Outlet. We actually go there first and get what we can off our list. The last time we went grocery shopping we got most of our list there for 50 bucks! We just look at the dates of things. We had friends who laughed at people who shopped there. :dunno

Back in San Diego, I'd shop at the Entenmann's outlet! That reminds me, I need to find if there's one here!

There's a grocery outlet here, but I've never gone, because we do the majority of our shopping at the Commissary.

We don't have any - well, we have an Aldi's but I am not at all impressed with the our particular store here. I used to do a LOT of shopping at the outlet where we lived before - saved a ton!

We used to have Food Depot... they were great and cheap and had THE BEST steaks ever!! I can't wait til we go back home... I'm so sick of where we are living now... that's the one thing I'm actually looking forward to.

I've never heard of one but I'd never laugh about it. I will do just about anything to save money on our outrageous food bill!

Yeah, I go to Aldi's when I dont feel like driving up the base, the one's here are very nice and sooooooooo much cheaper than the regular stores around here.
I always see all kinds of different people shopping there. Im not emberrassed at all. If they seen my grocery bill for the month, they would understand...lol

In Australia I shopped at Aldi all the time, I am always up for a bargain

I did when I lived nearer to one than I do now, I think it was Save-a-lot or something like that. Mostly for the canned goods. I also used to shop at the bread outlet, I could get like 3 loaves of Whitewheat for a buck and they weren't expired or anything. I could usually go in with a fiver and get a couple loaves of bread, hot dog buns, hamburger buns, whatever and get change back :yes.

I'm all about being cheapo :D
