When freedom needed heros
To answer duty's call,
You packed your bags and left home
For the greater good of all.
And though I can't be with you,
I still do understand.
You have an important job to do
In a distant foreign land.
You represent so many things,
Even though you are not here.
Courage, Faith and Honor,
the message is quite clear.
So, until your job is finished
And your back home to stay,
Remember, you're my hero
And in my prayers each day.
