But please, there's no reason in the world to leave us at SOS.

Why? Because, first, I don't think it's wise to make any quick decisions- not now, you're hurting. Plus, we are more than simply appendages or attachments to our military partners. Yes, that''s what originally drew us together, but it's not always what holds us together. Friendship with us doesn't require that you and your SO remain a couple.

You hit the nail on the head with this statement. It's really not a "feeling" it's a DECISION. You decide to love someone and love them not matter what. That is what make relationships that last forever.
