just found out db's battalion is one of 8 that are locked into staying the entire 15 months in Iraq...

Hand in there honey it will go by fast DB should have been home Jan 12 and we found out on Dec. 29 that he wouldnt now his arival time is at the end of march..... i know its sucky and i think about what it would be like to have him home in my arms right now it sucks im so sorry your going through this

I'm sorry.. I don't know what to say, except that is SUCH A DRAG!

Remember that you have lots of friends and support here, and lots of people to lend an ear or kind word when you get discouraged, and I'm more then happy to offer a smart ass joke or comment when you feel down and need a laugh..

I know exactly that sinking feeling of helplessness that an extension brings, and I wish I could take it away and make it all better for you. All I can offer right now, is once it's over, you will look back and wonder how the time passed so quickly. We did 22 months in Iraq, and it really wasn't that bad for me... You'll learn how to function, you'll learn how to get by, and once you get into your day to day routine, the days will all mush together and they'll pass quickly..
