If you couldn't tell already this is my first deployment and I keep wondering about more and more things.. which figures because my DF would ask me if I had any questions BEFORE he left and I kept saying no because I serioulsy didn't, but now that hes gone I have some! :duh

How long do ships usually stay in port for?
How long do they get liberty for? couple hours? days?

When DH was on the ship usually they would port for an average of 4 days. Sometimes a day longer sometimes shorter. He had liberty the whole time as long as he didn't have watch or duty.
