AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Better.
Yesterday, I got a phone call from an emergency room checking up on "(insert DH name here)." I was at work. I had no idea what she was talking about, and told her it wasn't possible since he is in training. She says, "He's going to Iraq?" I said yes. Suddenly, she can't possibly have the right person and the name must have gotten mistaken (common name). I let it go.
Last night, got on Skype as soon as I got off work, and had some IMs waiting for me from DH. Seems he mighthave torn his muscle, stretched his ligaments, and his ACL in his left knee...!!!! They put him on crutches for 5 days and a 4-day profile. They gave him Motrin and that was the end of it! I talked to him for a little while last night and he told me that it hurt so badly that he couldn't sleep but his toes are numb. He said they're planning to do an MRI if he doesn't get better.
My thoughts? Well...first of all, that could be the end of his military career. Secondly, they aren't giving him nearly enough time to heal. The MRI should have been done already 'cause the damage it'll do if healed improperly is the kind that makes you crippled at age 45. His computer died while we were talking and I didn't hear from him today. Please, girls, keep us in your prayers. I'm worried, but helpless, so I'm trying not to think about it and wait for something more.
