We got the call this morning from his VA lady and said he has 2 medical appointments on the 26th, then a psych eval. (:tears) on the 1st and a dental appt on the 3rd.

DJ leaves on Sunday. :sadeyes

He actually comes back the night before his last day in the Navy. There's a really nice restaurant in downtown Ashland that we'll probably go to on the 5th in celebration of his time served.

If you guys can spare prayers and good thoughts, he's going to need them on March 1st. The doctor is going to put him through the wringer, asking questions about Cuba and his dad. He confessed that he's nervous and upset. He actually just had a little anxiety attack, so I got him a Xanax and he's downstairs relaxing.

Anyhow, the sooner they get this over, the sooner he'll get his rating and the sooner he'll be able to collect his disability and begin to be seen by the VA doctors in Medford for counseling, etc., if he wants to. I just can't wait for this to all be over with...:tired

:hugs I'm sure that this is very hard for you and your Dh, :pray and :hugs to you! I hope that it all goes as well as possible!

Good luck to DJ! Just a FYI, DH was able to see the VA doctors before he even got his actual rating. So you might want to find out about that. :hugs

Yeah, once he is actually out of the Navy, I think we'll go into the VA Center in Medford just to talk to them and what not.
