How do you REALLY know its flutters? I know its supposed to feel like butterflies but really I have no idea what that would even feel like since I have never felt a butterfly lol I *think* I have been feeling something for the past 2 days, its not gas b/c trust me, I know gas LOL It could be a figment of my imagination though lol :dunno

What did your flutters feel like? How did you really KNOW that it was the baby?

The first time you feel it, it feels strange like small flutters.
But it will get stronger as the days go by :yes

I used to lay on the bed, on my tummy, with my hand or dh hand right there and you could really feel it.

It actually made me a little queasy, like my tummy doing flip flops. It was a very odd sensation until I got used to it.

I really wish I could take off my belly with the baby in it and give it to someone who has multiple children, like you, so they can put it on and tell me if thats flutters LOL I really am starting to feel crazy b/c I dont know what it is I'm feeling.

See thats what I'm feeling, like if you take 3 fingers and tap them from one to the next to the next while moving your hand back and forth. I hope that explains it right.

my food rumbles are normally above my belly button so I can tell the difference in location as well lol

I was about as far along as you when I started feeling the flutters. It felt like fluttering in my lower stomach and it was sooo odd until I figured it was My Jer Bear! :cloud9

I felt either tapping or a feeling of gas bubbles but not quite. I can't describe it very well, lol.

WHat I learned was if you had to ask yourself "was that it?" Then it likely was. Mine felt like lil light taps or muscle spasms. What I did was stick a nail file sideways on my belly and would sit still and watch. Eventually I would feel it and see the file lightly flicker at the same time

Yeah that's what it was like for me too...and I would only have those "fluttery" feelings when i was laying down..but I swear one time when I was about 17 weeks she kicked so hard! I couldn't believe it because she was still sooo tiny lol

I first felt mine at the end of 13 weeks. Even though it is my first, I am heavier, etc. To me, it didn't feel like either "flutter" nor "butterflies". It felt more like when you go over a hill fast on a 4 wheeler or go down a hill in a roller coaster. To me, anyway. Still feels like that sometimes. Not in a nauseated way (roller coasters don't make me ill) but that kind of weird tingle/tickle feeling.
