My DB has been over since middle of January and i dont' get to talk to him much. But today he called me for the 1st time in two weeks!! My knees went weak and i just about cried. Will that go away? I mean will i cry everytime he hangs up? It seems I am fine and can go on but when i hear from him it's like he left all over again. Do you guys experience this? I dont' want to have to hold back tears everytime i hear from him.

phone calls are wondeful but yet they kill itll b ok and just wait until the next one stay strong!

:yay for phone calls...and to be honest everytime me and my DH end a conversation I still get all teary.

Honestly I don't think it ever gets better when they have to go, but just keep thinking of when he will be home that should cheer you up :hug

:yay for the call. i never cried from talking to him or after, it was when i didn't hear from him that was the hardest, and yes it does get easier but in all honesty it will be awhile before it does. but when it happens is kinda up to you, well somewhat up to you lol, hormones and pms have a major role in it to, at least for me LMFAO

I have a hard time after phone calls. You just don't want them to end. When db calls more frequently, its not as hard. Deployments are so hard. Keep your spirits up. We are all here for you!
