Hi, my name is Nicole and I live in Bakersfield, CA. I am 25 years old and am the proud girlfriend of a Sailor since the begining of this year (New Years Eve to be exact). He is stationed in Jacksonville, FL but is currently on deployment on the USS Eisenhower. I am so excited to have found this website, I get a lot of support from friends and family but no one who is actually going through what I am! It reminds me that if other people can do it, DB and I can make it through this too. If any of you other newbie girls need someone to talk to, let me know, I'd love to make some new friends. Or if any of you lovely ladies who have been on here awhile have any, and boy do I mean any, advice on what to do to make this easier, please send me your advice, I appreciate it all!! Thanks!

Welcome!!! Keeping yourself busy will make the time go by quicker. When is he due to come home? Are you going to be moving to Jax? We just left there and we loved it. DH was on the JFK. This site is filled with wonderful ladies. I'm sure you'll love it here. Any questions you have be sure to ask cause more than likely there is someone here who knows the answer. Also, it is fine to vent so don't feel as if you can't. Just hang in there, he'll be home soon.
