The last time i talked to DB was last Saturday morning :sigh he said he was going on a mission and would not be able to talk to me for a couple of days. Usually when he says that he is only gone for like 3 or 4 days tops and as soon as he can he will shoot me an e mail letting me know everything is good and he loves me and will get a hold of me soon. :blush

Heres the bad part this is day six no sign of him at all what so ever. I am sure that my anxiety is getting the best of me and if DB was here he would kick my butt for freaking myself out but i am soooo worried!!! :duh

A whole week i know this sounds stupid cause some girls go months and i have been in those shoes its just this is out of the norm for us! We are lucky to get to talk everyday and sometimes twice i would not be worried about it if he was not on a mission but now of course the worst thoughts are going through my head. I already have terrible dreams at night and this week has been one for the record its just im scared!!!

Where is he? :confuzzle Is he still out? If so he has to be so tired and drained!!! :sigh

Somebody help me out, is it normal for him to be gone on a mission this long right before he comes home? Im so worred :tears

:edit Ok so last night i could not sleep at all when i worry like that i always take my laptop and stay signed in all night with it on my night stand. I finally fell asleep around 530 this morning and around 830 DB messaged me :whew but i was so knocked out i didnt even hear it. lol
Im not mad or upset at all. They are leaving there very soon and when they got back from their mission the camp was packed up and they told them they were going to kv to stay so he could not tell me. He knew i was worried he just did not have a way to get ahold of me. He said he would call me tonight cause he assumed i was sleeping cause he knows how i dont sleep well when i worry like that. lol And..... :drumroll please..........


Hes coming home 7 days earlier than we thought :wow lol omg yay. So to recap why i am so excited.... i heard from him and hes coming home early!!!!

During, DF's last deployment he was out on a mission right b4 he was suppose to leave. They got caught up "in the shit" (DF's phrase) and that delayed him from getting back to camp, which then delayed him even further from coming home. :gaah


I am sure things are ok, just give it some time. I understand how worrying it can be when you get off schedule, just try to breathe and you will get through it. :hugs

I've been in your situation before. EVERYTHING about the military is unpredictable. So what was supposed to be a couple of days can often times last a lot longer. So he's probably still out on a mission or the communication is locked / or just not working. Could be a # of things that are keeping him from talking to you but I'm sure everything's fine! And he's just as anxious to talk to you. Hope you hear from him soon!

i went through a similar situation this week! If something was wrong you would know by now. He could even be back from this mission, but his phones could be down. Try not to worry. Although I know it's hard not to worry given the circumstances.

Its tough not to hear anything but he's fine! Missions can just take awhile sometimes. He'll be calling you before you know it.

The longest I have gone with not hearing from hubby is 9 days. I know other girls who have gone months. I don't know if I could do that...but I guess I'd have to if it came down to it.

I am sure you will hear from him soon. There is a bunch of possible reasons as stated before why he hasn't called yet. You just have to try to stay strong and know that as soon as he can he'll be giving you a ring or sending an email. It's so hard...but really no news is good news. :yes
