When DH was at boot I could drive and for his first half of AIT, we couldn't get a car and what we had was broken (not that i could drive stick anyways)
The people at walgreens got to know me, cause it's where i grocery shopped :lol

I know it sucks... other than that I have no real advice :hugs

i can't drive either... the great state of ohio has decided to take my license, until who only knows when, and after lots and lots of money has been paid.

:sadeyes that's the main reason i had to move back in with my mom... i feel your pain!!!

Well if you cant pass the test then maybe you should try another method of studying. Have you tried going to driving school? That could really help you. I dont know what I would do without a license or a car to drive. Its like my lifeline.

yeah I was thinking about going to driving school but I don't know where the closest one is.

I can't wait to have my licence though =)

I've found goals really help deployment go faster - make getting your permit your goal for before your SO gets home. You could even keep it a secret that you're working on it and then have a huge surprise for him when you pass!

I agree, I dont drive either, I passed the test, but I have anxiety problems that make me have panic attacks when I drive, and boy does it suck, especially with ttwo kids. I tried to that while dh was at training so I could surprise him, but it didnt work out that way.
