So I am here sewing my dress getting ready to start packing when the phone rings... Its DF, so I get excited. He tells me that he failed his running test and he thinks he has to stay 2 more weeks. Has anyone went through this before? Does that really mean that? or will they give him another chance to take the test before Friday? Someone please help me. I feel so lost and hurt at the same time. :angrywife:shakefist:smackup:heartbreaker

i'm not so familiar with the navy but when my friend was in national guard bootcamp, he only had a chance to test once a week. And he ended up staying a whole extra two months or something crazy like that...but i he must have been like walking or trying to fail b/c it really shouldn't take 2 months to pass. hopefully the navy will let them retake soon.

like we told you in the other thread yes he will be recycled to a different class. Sorry but if he fails and that was his last shot then that is it till the next class.

DF just said they will let him retake it. However, if he doesn't pass he doesn't pass with his division (which could take longer than 2 weeks). Sorry.
