The only way that you can see what dependents you SO has in DEERS is if he brings home a copy of his page 2 ( not sure what it's called in other branches.)

hmmm.... like a statement that lists dependents, ad if there is anything that wud list wut benefits have been used. Like if he went to the doc, or his daughter went to the dentist, wud there be anything to show dates and all that?

The dependants, see my post above....
As far as if she is being taken to the dr or dentist. They send a thing to the patients house that shows how much the dr billed and what tricare paid. I guess if he wanted to he could call tricare and get a copy of it.

You can access the claims that each dentist has filed through the united concordia website.. (I've done it myself) all you need to know is your log in, and you go to member listing, and then claim information.. it will show you which procedures were done and when.:D

like Donna said maybe tricare, but even though she is his daughter they might not give out that info HIPPA and all. and if she went to a military hospital they wouldn't have a list of dates she went if there were no benefits being paid.kwim
Like Donna said his Page 2 will state who is listed as a dependent. But it won't state what benefits they are using. and when they are using them.

Oh ok, well I was acyually giving the dentist as an example. I was just wondering if the doc would send him any kind of statement as far as the medical bills. BTW his daughter is living with her mother....so who would get anykind of statement?

:no, the statements usually go to the primary custodial parent... which sucks..
I like that UC does have the dependents list online, and I wish tricare did the same thing.

I just read the reply over lol so basically there wouldn't be a statement if he wasnt paying out of pocket

the person listed as the responsible party on the doctor's notice. The mom would. Because they go by the patients address, which in this case is different then the sponsors. If the mom states that she is going to be responsible for the bills on the doctor's paperwork, then he will never get a bill. If she puts him down then he will get the bills. But the statement of benefits sent by tricare are sent to the patient.
