DB graduates from Great Lakes in 17 days! eek! Now, I'm on my way to the mall and have no idea what to buy! In our winters our highs only go as low to about 65 degrees... I looked on weather.com and the high today is 28 degrees in Great Lakes.. WTF?! how is that possible? :lol
Do I need to go all out and wear a beanie, scarf, and mittens? Do I need to buy a pig poufy jacket? I'm at a lost. Our winters here, all you have to wear is a cardigan sweater and youre warm... How do I keep myself warm yet cute at the same time? Is that even possible? Please and thank you!

I don't know if you need a big poofy coat. There are some cute wool pea-coats that you can get that are very warm without being too bulky. Of course, if you want the big poofy coat go for it! Some of them are pretty cute!

I'm from ND, trust me you can look cute and stay warm at the same time. 28 degrees is a freakin heat wave. Peacoats are super cute and warm with some mittens and a hat of some kind. You will probably be a little chilly since you aren't used to it, but you will be fine!!!

I honestly wouldn't worry about looking cute... you're going to be really cold!! Just wear a pea coat and a nice scarf (also maybe a hat and gloves). I wouldn't go all out and buy tons of winter outerwear. Good luck!

I would think there has to be a store who has some 'winter' clothes on clearance. Hopefully
