View Full Version : hard to breathe?? resless_me 02-26-2008, 05:56 PM anyone else feel like its hard to breathe, or you cant catch your breath...even when your not doing anything? *Samantha* 02-26-2008, 06:18 PM yup yup all the time!!! FTCWifey 02-26-2008, 06:24 PM My childhood asthma seems to be kicking back in, but it only acts up when I AM doing something. However I do recall from my previous pregnancies how hard it gets to breathe when you get as far along as you just because the baby is taking up your lung space. resless_me 02-26-2008, 06:33 PM well now that i know its not just me, is there anything to cure it...i find myself looking for a cure to all my symptoms...lol mary79 02-26-2008, 06:35 PM Yes, I feel that way all the time. Its real bad when I go up stairs and it feels like I just ran a Marathon. inmansgirl06 02-26-2008, 07:16 PM do you remember back in like elementary PE class where you would stand and raise your arms abover your head, and while you are raising them you would breath in real deep through your nose (for a count of 4) and then slowly lower your arms and breath out through your mouth (for a count of 8). Because I do those when i feel really out of breath (usually after walking up our two damn flights of stairs to our apt) and it really helps to like expand my lung capasity! Hope that helps! resless_me 02-26-2008, 07:24 PM do you remember back in like elementary PE class where you would stand and raise your arms abover your head, and while you are raising them you would breath in real deep through your nose (for a count of 4) and then slowly lower your arms and breath out through your mouth (for a count of 8). If it happens a lot at night you could try sleeping in kind of a reclining position, it helps keep the baby lower down and out of your lungs :D mommytobe3421 02-29-2008, 09:46 AM yes all the time it sucks lol jjcreekmore 02-29-2008, 01:59 PM Yep, and nothing makes it stop for me.
