DJ had his medical and audiology appointments today.

He said the first doctor took a ridiculous amount of X-rays of his back, hands and foot. They gave him an EKG because his medical records talk about heart palpatations (but they wrote those off to stress and the PTSD).

He also has a mild case of tenitis (ringing ears). The audiologist actually just read an article that a lot of servicemembers that complain of tenitis also have PTSD, so they think there might be some kind of correlation between the two. It also didn't help that DJ worked on the flight line with the engines and what-have-you's.

He's really scared about the Saturday appointment with the psychiatrist. I feel like absolute crap that I can't be there (physically) when he gets done. He's just going to charge up the cell phone and call after the appointment so we can talk until he settles down. He's got a 2 page questionaire to fill out (again :reallymad), so he'll be trying to do that between now and Saturday.

If you can keep the prayers and good thoughts coming, I'd surely appreciate it. My poor husband is such a good man and it kills me that he's in so much pain (mentally). :unlove

You AND your husband are in my thoughts! I posted on here about my husband being diagnosed with PTSD, anger, and depression before being deployed. He is currently seeking treatment with a counselor and taking STRONG meds!

I don't know exactly what you're going through but I know it's hard to watch your husband go through this and I know how hard it can be on you....I'm wishing you and your husband the best and just remember: YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!
