So many of you know my situation I was having with the base hospital doesn't give refferals to OB/GYNs until you are 25 weeks along based on the last menstural cycle unless you are high risk, which they told me I am not. Ok, well I went and talked to the head OB nurse and the Tricare director at our base hospital today. After explaining to them all the genetic disorders I carry the genes for and that my periods have always been irregular so my hormone levels are going to be off, they agreed that I definately need prenatal care befor 25 weeks. They scheduled me an appointment for March 25 for an ultrasound to verify my due date, which was the soonest available since there is limited space in the "high risk" OB. So, so far they are working with me. They are even doing their best to accomadate the fact that I do not want a male OB/GYN. So, we'll see how it goes from here. The appointment itself took 4 hours, but it seemed to help.
Also, the blood hormone levels or whatever came back saying I am 7 weeks, but I know I only see my husband on certain weekends, and never during the week... So it was either over christmas break I got pregnant, or January 19. January 19 is what I've been going by which makes me 5 weeks, but the hormone levels say 7 weeks, so that was another iffy that needs an ultrasound to clarify.
