okay i love writting poems and thought that i would post one of mine for you girls....tell me what you think....
~For All~
No one understands the reasons
Why we're in love with you
Some say we're crazy
Out of our minds, Psycho
But we don't have to tell them
The reasons why
That we found love
In a man in a uniform
Some people will never
Find that kind of love
They will never understand
The letters we get
Are all more like his hugs and kisses
A piece of his beautiful heart
When our men are gone
Only the other military girlfriends, fiances, and wives will get it
What the other feels inside
Deep in our souls
Just hearing his voice is special
We smile, and sometimes cry
We cuddle with his pictures and letters
And wait for the next kiss
We get months from now
Songs come on the radio
We cry to, because it reminds us
Of that one special soilder
That has our heart
With movies, its the same thing
Sometimes we even think
We see their face in stangers
I know that i do
We search for those eyes, nose, lips,
Scars, freckles, whatever makes them, them
And sometimes we stare
Waiting for them to look up and say,
"hey beautiful, i love you"
And of course it never comes
This just makes us miss them more
And it hurts when we relize
That's its not them
We move on and dream of them
For them to come home
But when they do,
For the very short time,
Its worth it, their duty is to help others
All the sad days, the crying days,
The days that you just need a shoulder to cry on
Its all worth the long lonely days without them
Just looking in those eyes,
When you see them
All that goes away
And he makes it all better
For alittle while
And that's what we love about them,
Our brave soilders
We are the great girls of the
Navy, Army, Marines, and the Airforce
