Caimbrie 02-27-2008, 10:29 PM I had one for all 3 of mine (was the same one for Cameron and Wyatt). They were boyish.... I didn't b/f then.. but it was convenient for bottle feeding when they were little.
I plan to either get a new boppy or another type similar for breast feeding this time.
wife-n-mommy 02-27-2008, 10:33 PM I had one with Kylee, didn't really help so much with breastfeeding because of the way she liked to sit while nursing. but it was good to prop her up on the couch in, especially when she was learning to sit up, and it worked good with tummy time. hers was the one that had the play gym that went with it.
HeatherA. 02-27-2008, 10:35 PM I got one at my shower, that I registered for

Obviously, I have no experience with it yet.
CAmom4721 02-27-2008, 10:36 PM I have/used one. I loved it! It was great for nursing while I did and we used it to prop Cam up before he could sit up. He loved it for tummy time too, that was the only way I could get him to do it without screaming after 5 minutes. Totally worth the money IMO. Mine is a naked one or whatever, it's just white, and I've got two covers, one that is blue with sailboats and one that is a light green color with jungle animals on it. :) It is all put away for the next baby.

My son's name is Wyatt too!! Anyway, back on topic... I b/f for the first 6 weeks with my son. I did use a Boppy then, and also after, when we were bottle feeding. I LOVED it. We stopped using it only after my son had some.... explosive poo... We cleaned it the best we could, but I just didn't want to use it again. It was boyish.. it had soccer balls, baseballs, footballs... etc...
Veronica 02-27-2008, 10:37 PM I still have mine, I actually use it as a pillow for myself right now. I loved mine. It freed my hands while I sat and nursed. :)
I bought a naked one and bought a couple cute covers for it.
*~*Cori*~* 02-27-2008, 10:40 PM I really like the fleecy ones! :D
I had a registry with Jerron and not one person bought me anything off of it... so Im sure its a waste of my time making this darn thing :nutts

I thought about doing that this time.

I just registered for what I needed, to give people an idea. I can always return what they get me if it's not what I need. I bought my friend a Boppy, but I don't think she uses it. If she doesn't, do you think it's OK if I ask if I can use it? Or is that totally in bad taste?

I have two. It was a helpful item even when I was pregnant. I used to set my laptop on it so I could type because my belly was so big. I didn't really use it for nursing but it was helpful when Sara was less than 3 months old. I could sit her in it on our bed and have two free hands to fold laundry and such. She fell asleep in it a lot. After she could move around on her own it was a lot less useful. Once she was walking age she went back to taking naps with it only now it's a pillow that kind of hugs her. The ones I have are very gender neutral. I thought they were kind of pretty though.
Corenn 02-28-2008, 02:41 AM I had one and never used it..lol well i did once and it didn't really seem to help..but i will try it again with this one..and mine is like a pink plush material (i think that's what it is) and then the other side is pink and white stripes..
Steph* 02-28-2008, 02:57 AM I have one (pink of course!) & used it for the first few months while BFing. It really helps while you're BFing!
Britt 02-28-2008, 03:04 AM **NOT A MOM**
I loved my friend's boppy! I used it all the time with her son. :D
Mommy2Bailey 02-28-2008, 09:18 AM I have one. I used it a couple times in the beginning. Now I just use it to prop Bailey up since she wants to sit up so bad.
Alexis 02-28-2008, 09:28 AM I had one with each of my kids and loved it!
Each boppy has a changable cover on it so you can buy different colors and designs.
The one we have now is yellow with little bee's all over it but I'm going to buy a cute pink and brown polkadot one next week to change out when I get bored.
rosebud* 02-28-2008, 09:39 AM i had 2, one for my DS and one for my YDD i didn't breastfeed, but it made bottle feeding easier as well. my sons had the 2000 baby design ( for the year he was born) very cute and blue. Ydd it was the naked one, but it came with a cover so hers had this really pretty yellow girly cover. I got the other one because ds used his soo much and for more then just sitting and feeding that it got flat and wasn't usable the same way.
Treysgirl 02-28-2008, 10:06 AM I had a Bobby. It helped me some when I nursed, but I mainly used it to to sit him up in as ds started getting a little older. I've caught my husband using it as a neck pillow too lol. The one I had was blue but it could pass either for a boy or a girl.
letgo0527 02-28-2008, 10:31 AM I had one when ds was born, i didn't use it too much. When I used it I felt like I was hunched over trying to bf. I'm going to try to get some use out of it with this baby, but I'll probably have to put some pillows under it to get it positioned right...
harrisonsdream 02-28-2008, 11:07 AM i love love love love love love love my boppy! it's so helpful even now when i'm nursing her down for the night. you can buy different covers
2123wife 02-28-2008, 11:31 AM I didnt have one with DS because I accidently registered for the luxe and it was really expensive. But I bought on for this one and I obviously havent used it yet but i like it. I got the cover that is pink with brown circles on it. Its pretty:D
Potatocup 02-28-2008, 12:59 PM I had one with Kylee, didn't really help so much with breastfeeding because of the way she liked to sit while nursing. but it was good to prop her up on the couch in, especially when she was learning to sit up, and it worked good with tummy time. hers was the one that had the play gym that went with it.
:yes Same thing here. I got a bare one that i bought a few covers for so i could change and clean them. It didn't work very well bf and had to use pillows under it on my lap. I actually heard of some other kind of lap pillow (cannot remember the name) that is supposed to work better.
Nickschic 02-28-2008, 01:00 PM I got one when i had DD and I loved it. She was bottle fed and it was very nice to lay her on to feed her and it gave me a free hand. I plan on using it again with this baby. I got the white one also and got some covers for it. IMO its totally worth the money.
*~*Cori*~* 02-28-2008, 01:02 PM Thanks Girls! I don't know if I want to register for one or just buy it :lol
girl20racer 02-28-2008, 01:04 PM My sister gave me the one from when she had her son.. obviously it was blue..but I didn't care. I didn't breastfeed so I can't answer that question, but I did love it and also helped with tummy time.
Disclaimer: nekky baby :giggle

jupiterinka 02-28-2008, 01:07 PM I had one but didn't really use it.
*~*Cori*~* 02-28-2008, 01:08 PM Awww look at the nekky baby! :giggle (L)
twobabies 02-28-2008, 01:11 PM I used it for both of my boys! It was very helpful for feeding, sleeping and tummy time. I had a zebra print one and a blue with brown polkadots. I loved it.
Ashnbri 02-28-2008, 01:15 PM I have one and I liked it alright..it didn't really help me personally with breastfeeding but it helped me so I could hold DS across my lap since I had a Csection. It also saved us since he would NOT sleep on his back so we laid him on that for naps. Now he still uses it....he lays his head on it when he is on the floor and it helps him hold his bottle better. I would recommend having at least 2 covers for it...we had the one that came with it and bought another one. Because they really do get dirty quickly. I just got a gender neutral one at my baby shower and got a green striped cover as well.
jjcreekmore 02-28-2008, 10:58 PM I LOVE the Boppy pillow!!!!
There great for B4 baby too, I use it between my legs to sleep, helps greatly when your bones start spreading.
It takes alot of strain off of your arms while breastfeeding too, and when the baby can hold his/her head up its great to lay them on it to let them practice, my daughter even loved sleeping on hers, then when she got older it helped her learn to sit by herself.
I always just got a "no gender" one, but they have this really cool one at walmart now I just bought it a couple weeks ago, it actually has a piece of fabric that unfolds out of it and velcro's to each side and makes a seat for the baby so they can really use it for that purpose earlier. I can't wait to try it out on the new baby when she gets here, lol.
Lacie 02-29-2008, 11:59 AM I just got one. Never had one with my first.
