This feels like a really stupid question, but I am gonna go ahead and ask it anyway. I need to sign the family up for Tricare Dental to get Cameron a dentist right? Will they give me a referral of any kind? Do I just take him to a regular dentist or do they have pediatric dentists? Does that even exist?

:edit Ok I read on the Tricare site and I think I am understanding a little more. So once I enroll and get my cards I can call whatever dentist on their list and it's covered? Man, I thought medical was difficult to understand at first. This stuff should all be together!

Once enrolled you can take your child to any dentist, pediatric or regular, as long as tricare approved. we have had our kids enrolled since they were about 8 months old.

I personally use a pediactric dentist because that is their speciality! but to each their own. We are using KoolSmiles right but I am on the hunt for another dentist!! My kiddos have been going since they got their first tooth! :D Good Luck.....you know i didn't use their list persay...I called and asked each place if they ACCEPT tricare dental, not if they would file it, but if they Accepted it! Good luck!!
